GRANT MAKING PROGRAM & FUNDING PRIORITIES
The foundation supports organizations involved with arts and culture, education, the environment, health, housing, human services, diversity and inclusion, community development, minorities, and economically disadvantaged people. The BBVA Compass Foundation supports the communities where they have a presence providing charitable grants to qualified nonprofit organizations.
Charitable grants are considered for organizations that meet the criteria described here. At the bottom of this section, you will find information about semi-monthly calls held for nonprofits interested in requesting support from the BBVA Compass Foundation, along with links to begin the application process. They suggest you read this section in its entirety before you begin a request for support.
All nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) IRS designations interested in applying for a charitable grant from the BBVA Compass Foundation are invited to join one of the monthly Charitable Contributions Process Conference Calls/Webinar Presentations. We require participation in one of these calls for all first-time applicants before submitting your grant request online. Please visit our registration site to confirm your participation and receive additional details for webinar login. After participating in one of the calls, you can begin the online application process by completing an eligibility quiz on the website, which will confirm that your organization and proposal qualify for funding. If you need technical assistance during the online application process, click on the “Need Support” link available at the bottom of each page.
