Description, Compensation and Benefits:

  Request for Qualifications: Strategies 2.0 Capital Region Learning Community Facilitator Become a catalyst for change to benefit children and families in the Capital region.     Key tasks and desired results for the Learning Community Facilitator include:
  • Develop annual goals and learning priorities for a cohort of regional family-strengthening leaders.
  • Organize and conduct quarterly convenings for cohorts of community, organizational, and collaborative leaders and emerging leaders, for shared learning, support, and collaboration.
  • Continuously identify, clarify and stay updated on regional needs, concerns and issues. Based on these regionally identified issues and learning priorities, develop and implement annual goals and plans for a progression of convenings and ongoing connections that deepens participants’ understanding, reflection, collaboration, and progress toward impact.
  • Secure and arrange speakers (regional experts and field-leading organizations) around topics of regional interest.
  • Conduct outreach and ongoing relationship-building to generate participation and organizational engagement the Learning Community.
  • Cultivate and mobilize organizational partners throughout the region, who will host videoconferenced “satellite” sites for convenings, and serve as local ambassadors and mobilizers for outreach.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Strategies 2.0 seeks an experienced, regionally connected human services professional who shares our dedication to building the family-strengthening field, to contract as our Capital Region Learning Community Facilitator. Strategies 2.0 facilitates a statewide network of six distinct, geographically defined Learning Communities designed to connect human services and community leaders for shared learning, collaboration, and social change to bolster the resiliency of children, families, and communities.
