Becoming an Impact Foundry Member—whether you’re a nonprofit, individual, consultant, or business interested in supporting and developing the nonprofit sector—is a great way to connect to the nonprofit community in order to learn more, do more, and make more of a difference.

There are currently more than 700 organizations, individuals and consultants who have made a commitment to nonprofit management success, community involvement, and support of the sector through their Impact Foundry Membership.

Nonprofit Organization Membership

Membership is open to all nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, and city, county and state departments. A one year membership starts the month you join, and membership benefits are extended to anyone in your organization that you designate – staff, board members, and volunteers.

Membership Benefits:

Most importantly, you are demonstrating support of the whole nonprofit sector by supporting The Impact Foundry, your regional Management Support Organization.

But you also get:

  • Your organization listed in the Membership Directory. Great for collaboration!
  • Discounts on workshops (up to 50% off listed tuition).
  • Priority on limited scholarship seats to workshops and events.
  • Free members’ only events.
  • Free job postings on Impact Foundry’s job board, the premier nonprofit job site for the Sacramento region ($75 value per posting).
  • Free event postings on Impact Foundry’s Calendar .
  • Free access to the Nonprofit Compensation Associates’ Yearly Salary Survey (up to a $540 value).
  • Access to GrantStation as a membership add-on (cost $95, valued at $699).
  • Promotion in our bi-weekly newsletter as a new member.

Annual fee is based on your organization’s operating budget.

Business Membership

Your membership helps us provide over 20,000 educational hours each year through classes and events, and we connect you with over 8,500 passionate people and causes.

There are two levels of membership, based on the size of the organization.

  • 50 or more employees $1,500 annual membership fee
  • Less than 50 employees $500 annual membership fee.

Nonprofit Individual and Remote Membership

$110 PER YEAR
Join a network of people doing good.

Nonprofit Individual membership is open to any individual working or aspiring to work in the nonprofit sector.  A one year membership starts the month you join.

Remote Members are from Organizations outside of our service area and may use the Remote Membership to access our digital offerings.

About Brad
Brad brings over 20 years of executive leadership in both the for-profit and non-profit sector. As a technology entrepreneur, he has helped to launch several enterprise software startups, one of which he led as Co-Founder and Vice President from 2002 through to its exit in 2016. He brings a people-centered style of leadership that leads to healthy organizational culture. He enjoys developing systems, strategy, and structure that set the foundation for organizations to scale and grow. Brad is considered a purpose-driven person and always seeks to “start with why” in everything he gets involved with. 
 
Beyond the enterprise technology roles he’s held, Brad was also instrumental in launching several community-based social entrepreneurship endeavors. He is the founder of the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank, Orangevale Food Bank Farm, HART of Orangevale and Fair Oaks, and the Big Day of Service. He also served as President of the Orangevale Chamber of Commerce from 2018-2022 where his impact led to a re-energized business and nonprofit membership community. Under his leadership, the Chamber secured $10M funding from SACOG for Greenback Lane streetscape improvements, 3x membership growth, 5x budget growth, formation of the Orangevale Community Council, and a more vibrant culture throughout the community. Brad currently serves on the boards of several other nonprofit organizations in the Capital Region. 
 
Brad currently serves as the Executive Director for Social Venture Partners of Sacramento, an organization seeking to build nonprofit connections and capacity by bringing together leaders from the business and nonprofit community. He oversees partnership growth strategy, daily operations, portfolio engagement, and major events such as the annual Fast Pitch social innovation program.
 
In 2018, Brad and family also launched a 10-acre u-pick flower farm called Heirloom Acres Farm. Thousands of people visit their farm all summerlong for flower u-pick events, and they also host a holiday barn market and have Christmas trees available in December. 
 
Brad’s superpower and life mission is about bringing people together for a purpose. He believes our community will be stronger when leaders are connected and engaged.
