GRANT MAKING PROGRAM & FUNDING PRIORITIES
Nonprofit organizations must have a valid tax exemption status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and be classified as a public charity and not as a “Private foundation” under Section 509(a). Government and public agencies are also eligible for funding.  GuideStar is used as Teichert Foundation’s primary research tool in determining agency eligibility.

Teichert Foundation will consider grant requests in the following categories:

  • Civic improvement and historical restoration
  • Community and social services
  • Culture and the arts
  • Education
  • Environmental planning and preservation
  • Rehabilitation and health service
  • Transportation and planning
  • Youth and elderlY

APPLICATION PROCESS

Fiscal Year 2018/2019

Cycle One
Period Opens: January 2, 2018
Application Deadline: February 23, 2018
Decisions Announced: June 1, 2018

Cycle Two
Period Opens: July 2, 2018
Application Deadline: August 31, 2018
Decisions Announced: December 3, 2018

All applications must be submitted via eGrant. Mailed, late, or incomplete applications will not be considered.
